Looks like Karl Rove uses a special e-mail server firewalled from the official White House mail servers. This server is used to conduct certain White House business, yet is directly controlled by the Republican National Committee. This discreet e-mail server may have escaped subpoena from Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald during the Plame Investigation. It’d be interesting to get a few days with this machine to run some forensics.
